The presenters will explore the following topics from a Canadian perspective:

  • Artificial intelligence at work: Privacy, contract, and human rights considerations; evolving legislative landscape, including Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000 amendments and the proposed Artificial Intelligence and Data Act
  • Remote work in a post-pandemic era: Navigating the challenges, leveraging the opportunities, and special considerations for the multi-jurisdictional employer
  • Electronic monitoring and security measures: privacy issues in unionized and non-unionized work environments
  • Managing work-from-home family status and disability accommodation requests
