Emily Gaines represents employers in a wide variety of employment law matters. She routinely defends employers in federal and state court, arbitrations, alternative dispute resolution proceedings, and in matters before federal, state, and local administrative agencies. Emily also counsels employers in various industries on compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and has experience drafting employment policies and employment agreements.
During law school, Emily held internships at the New York City Law Department (Labor and Employment Division), the New York City Office of Collective Bargaining, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (Mediation Unit). She was also a summer associate in Litter’s New York office before rejoining the firm after graduation.
