Edward Tsui (pronounced "Choi") is an experienced trial attorney who represents companies on a broad range of employment matters. He has extensive experience in appearing before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, including for Labor Code 132(a) discrimination claims, and serious and willful misconduct claims. Focusing on workplace safety and health, he represents employers in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) appeals. He also represents businesses in employment matters including workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination, and has matters in arbitration forums including JAMS.
His practice focuses on representing gig economy companies, and technology companies within the virtual marketplace space, on classification issues (i.e. independent contractor vs. employee). Ed collaborates with Littler attorneys and local counsel throughout the U.S. to protect clients' interests in all 50 states.
