Colleen O. Muñoz is a thoughtful litigator and problem solver, who defends her clients in collective actions and single plaintiff litigation against a variety of workplace issues, including discrimination and harassment, retaliation and whistleblowing, wage and hour violations, and leaves of absence claims. Colleen has represented employers of all sizes, from multinational corporations to family-owned businesses in both state and federal court. In addition to active litigation, Colleen has extensive experience representing clients in front of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI).

Colleen has been personally impacted by the immigration laws of the United States and keeps immigration issues close to her practice. She provides advice and counsel to employers navigating U.S. immigration compliance issues and global mobility, including employment-based visa petitions. Colleen also published a law review article dissecting the categorical approach to contested deportation proceedings, and volunteered with Innovation Law Lab to assist detained individuals in presenting their asylum claims.

Colleen is a former NCAA division 1 student-athlete who brings her competitive attitude and drive to advocate for her clients.
