ORLANDO, Fla. (December 14, 2015) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has appointed Jeffrey B. Jones to the firm’s Management Committee. Jones, who is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and has served as Orlando office managing shareholder for the past three years, will resign these positions to assume his new role, effective January 1, 2016. Jones succeeds Marguerite Walsh, who has been a member of the Management Committee for 12 years and will step down to focus on her duties as Littler’s general counsel. Anthony J. Hall has been named the new Orlando office managing shareholder, also effective January 1.

In addition to successfully leading the Orlando office since 2012, Jones has been active in the legal community for more than 20 years and consistently recognized by Best Lawyers in America. He has represented management in many high-profile matters, including cases alleging violations of federal and state discrimination, harassment, and preferential treatment laws. His strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills have empowered Jones to handle numerous proceedings before federal and state courts and administrative agencies.
Jones is also involved in various professional and community organizations and currently holds leadership positions with United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida, IMPOWER and 100 Black Men of Orlando, Inc. He earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and B.S. from Florida State University.
Hall’s thriving practice focuses on representing employers across the country in single-plaintiff and collective and class action matters. He is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried discrimination claims under federal and state law, including race, age, disability, religion and gender discrimination cases, as well as retaliation and whistleblower claims. Hall also has extensive appellate experience, having argued before state and federal courts.
An active participant in the Orlando and Florida legal communities, Hall serves in a number of leadership capacities. He is president of the National Bar Association, Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter, for 2016, and is an adjunct professor at Florida A&M University College of Law. He also has been recognized as a “legal elite” by Florida Trend magazine and named to the Top 100 of National Black Lawyers.
Hall earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and B.A. from Morris Brown College.
