Jewel Duberry-Douglas
Jewel Duberry-Douglas is a dedicated employment litigation associate.
Prior to joining Littler, Jewel’s practice focused on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, public company financings, venture capital financings, fund formation and general corporate matters.
While earning her J.D., Jewel served as a legal intern for a food and beverage company, where she worked cross-functionally with the compliance, marketing, and human resources teams to address legal questions. She interned with Greater Boston Legal Services’ CORI & Re-entry Program, where she assisted clients with sealing and expunging their criminal records. Jewel also interned with the NYC Commission on Human Rights, where she engaged in adjudicatory-related work for the Office of the Chair, including reviewing investigatory files and drafting orders of affirmance.
In law school, she served as a teaching assistant for a Legal Research and Writing course and a student clinician in Northeastern School of Law’s Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project, a teaching, research, and policy analysis program focused on anti-civil rights violence and injustices carried out during the period of 1930 to 1970.
