The Vermont Department of Labor has announced that, effective January 1, 2013, the state minimum wage will increase from $8.46 to $8.60 per hour for non-exempt employees. Additionally, the minimum wage for tipped employees increases from $4.10 to $4.17 per hour. Moreover, the maximum tip credit employers may take increases from $4.36 to $4.43 per hour.
