HOUSTON (March 17, 2025) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has added Tim McInturf as a shareholder in its Houston office. McInturf, who was previously with Littler from 1999 to 2009, returns to the firm after serving in several leadership roles at Quantlab Group and founding Tim McInturf Mediation.
“With an impressive career trajectory, blending experience as both a business executive and attorney, Tim offers invaluable insights into the challenges our clients face,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s managing director and president. “His ability to approach intricate legal matters with this dual perspective and his strong conflict resolution skills bring a distinct skill set to the team. We are thrilled to welcome him back to the firm.”
McInturf brings decades of experience in business leadership and dispute resolution. As an attorney at Littler, his practice focused on employment litigation, including cases involving unfair competition and trade secrets, breach of contract, and wrongful termination. During his 11 years at Quantlab Group—a global automated algorithmic financial trading organization—McInturf served as President, and before that, Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel. As Executive Vice President and then President, he was responsible for leading the company’s strategic vision, culture, growth, and day-to-day operations, overseeing multiple subsidiaries and affiliates in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
“Tim’s business-minded approach to serving clients is rooted in strategic thinking, collaboration, and a deep understanding of the unique and changing legal landscape in Texas and nationwide,” said Kelley Edwards, Littler’s Houston office managing shareholder. “With a background as both a successful trial lawyer and a sought-after client counselor, Tim’s thoughtful, analytical approach to solving business and legal problems will be of immediate value to our clients in managing their most pressing workplace issues.”
In returning to Littler, McInturf will focus his practice on representing employers in unfair competition, noncompete, and trade secret matters, as well as defending against claims involving discrimination and retaliation. With extensive experience helping companies cultivate high-performing cultures, he will also counsel employers on proactively addressing workplace issues and creating thoughtful policies related to hiring, performance management, training, and employment contracts, among other areas.
“I’m excited to rejoin Littler, which provided the foundation for much of my career,” said McInturf. “The experience I’ve gained since my time with the firm has deepened my understanding of the competing challenges business leaders face—and what business leaders need from their outside legal counsel—and I’m eager to use that experience to help our clients solve or avoid problems. I’m looking forward to collaborating with both longtime colleagues and new team members to provide the smart solutions our clients expect from Littler.”
McInturf received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.B.A from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Business and Economics at Houston Christian University and is a past president of the Texas General Counsel Forum, Houston Chapter.
