This article discusses the case of PhoneDog v. Kravitz in which PhoneDog brought multiple business tort claims against Noah Kravitz after he changed Phonedog's Twitter account handle from @PhoneDog_Noah to @noahkravitz and kept its then 17,000 followers after leaving his position with the company. Margaret Keane, co-counsel for Kravitz, stated that employers need to ensure that their access to and right to change passwords complies with any applicable social media password protection law.
