Littler's Amir Nayebdadash Elected Iranian American Bar Association's Los Angeles Chapter Representative

LOS ANGELES (August 2, 2011) – Amir Nayebdadash, an attorney at Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, has been elected as the Los Angeles Chapter’s representative of the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA). Nayebdadash is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Littler where he practices in the area of labor and employment. As the Los Angeles Chapter representative, Nayebdadash will act as the regional voice for the organization’s constituents and will support the overall mission of the IABA. He will serve a two-year term that commenced in mid-July 2011.

The IABA is one of the most prominent minority bar associations in the United States, boasting more than 1,500 members and chapters in almost a dozen metropolitan cities around the country. The organization publishes articles of interest, and provides networking opportunities and legal advocacy to the Iranian American community-at-large.

Nayebdadash’s practice focuses on defending employers in wage & hour class actions and single plaintiff employment litigation. He also advises employers on employment issues and management strategy. An experienced trial attorney, Nayebdadash has obtained complete defense verdicts in each of his jury trials and awaits a verdict in his most recent bench trial.

In addition to his work with the IABA, Nayebdadash is active in a number of other professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Labor and Employment section of the California State Bar, as well as the Iranian-American Lawyers Association, the Coalition of Iranian Entrepreneurs, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Nayebdadash received his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law; his M.A. from King’s College London School of Law, with honors; and his B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles, cum laude.
