Indianapolis, IN/October 9, 2006 -- Littler Mendelson, the nation's largest labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce the arrival of its newest shareholder, Michael A. Moffatt.
With focus on employment litigation and labor and employment matters, Mr. Moffatt's broad experience is in litigating a wide variety of matters in federal and state courts, including charges of employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, non-compete agreements and FLSA collective actions. He has significant litigation experience including jury trials, bench trials, preliminary injunctions, agency hearings, NLRB trial, arbitrations and arguing appeals. He also advises employers on various employment laws and provides management training on litigation avoidance, sexual harassment and discrimination laws.

Mr. Moffatt received his B.A. from DePauw University in 1986 and his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 1989. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association (Council member of the employment and labor section--past chair) and the Indianapolis Bar Association (past member of Executive Council of the labor and employment section--past chairman). He is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the U.S Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Moffatt is a frequent lecturer at employment seminars. He is also listed in Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and the National Registry of Who's Who.
