Littler Mendelson is helping to recognize some of the nation's best workplaces. Littler offices in Columbus, Denver, Houston and Philadelphia are sponsoring the Best Places to Work program, presented by newspapers owned by American City Business Journals. In each city, a special event will be held to honor top-ranked companies.
The program honors those companies in each city that have developed highly effective work environments, based on an extensive employee survey. Conducted by Quantum Market Research, the survey examines:
- team effectiveness
- retention risk
- alignment with goals
- trust with coworkers
- individual contribution
- manager effectiveness
- trust in senior leaders
- feeling valued
- work engagement
- people practices
“For many years, we have worked with our clients to develop innovative solutions to a wide variety of workplace challenges,” said James M. L. Ferber , managing shareholder of the Columbus office. “With global competition continuing to increase, it is even more critical that American employers provide productive, effective workplaces. This program honors those companies that are setting the standard in workplace excellence, which is why we are very proud to sponsor it.”
