Julie Dunne Advises Employers to Evaluate Their On-Call Restrictions

In this article about the growing number of law suits that are based on wages sought by employees due to the high level of restrictions placed on their freedom when they are on-call, Julie Dunne of Littler's San Diego office cautions employers to carefully evaluate the restrictions they place on their on-call employees. "Essentially, the less freedom an employee has when on-call, the higher the risk that the on-call time qualifies as paid time," said Dunne.
