Lawful Supervision

Employment Law Basics for Managers

Any given workday can present an array of challenges. This interactive e-learning course primes managers to identify and appropriately address employee concerns before they potentially lead to disengagement, liability exposure and policy violations.

Developed around the scenario of a manager conducting a team meeting, subtle and sometimes touchy issues are introduced from the employees in attendance. Managerial missteps provide course users with an opportunity to assess more effective ways to navigate tough situations and communicate with colleagues. From the slight evidence of a medical condition that may be the reason behind an employee’s performance struggles to the hard-and-fast lines that need to be drawn around timekeeping, this program walks through a series of common workplace concerns.

These modules require a SCORM 1.2 compatible learning technology platform, such as a Learning Management System (LMS) or other (LCMS, LRS, etc.).
