Littler Welcomes Adele L. Abrams as Senior Counsel in Growing Washington, D.C. Office

WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 1, 2025) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, is pleased to announce the addition of Adele L. Abrams as senior counsel in its expanding Washington, D.C. office. Abrams, a notable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) lawyer, is the latest addition to the office following the recent arrivals of Shareholders Stacey R. Eisenstein, Daniel L. Nash and Nathan J. Oleson.
“Adele brings over three decades of legal experience, with a significant focus on safety, health and employment law. Abrams previously led a multi-attorney OSHA practice across Colorado, Maryland and West Virginia for 25 years, practicing in multiple areas of employment and labor law with a focus on health and safety. As a certified Mine Safety Professional and an Associate Safety Professional, she provides consultation, safety audits, and training services to companies regulated by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and OSHA.
Abrams is actively involved in several prominent health and safety organizations, including the American Society of Safety Professionals and the National Safety Council. She has also served as the Chief Executive Officer and is currently a board member of the Chesapeake Region Safety Council. Furthermore, she is a past National President of Women in Mining.

In addition to her legal practice, Abrams serves as an instructor of employment law at the University of Colorado. She is a distinguished thought leader, regularly contributing columns to various magazines on legal, employment, mine and OSHA issues, and has co-authored several books on these topics. Notably, she received the National Safety Council's Distinguished Service to Safety Award.
Abrams earned her J.D., cum laude, from George Washington University National Law Center, her B.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park and a graduate certificate in public relations from American University.
