Message to Kingman staff: Silence is golden

Littler attorney Mark Ogden is quoted in this article about a lawsuit brought against the city of Kingman, AZ. The case relates to the issue of how Human Resources departments respond to applicants not offered jobs when they inquire as to why they weren't hired. Ogden stated that the city did nothing wrong by responding to the plaintiff's inquiry, but added that it maybe wasn't the best decision at the time. "There wasn't any need to answer the inquiry from that employee," he said.
