Overview

Shahram Samie is a respected trial attorney who focuses his practice on a broad range of employment law matters arising under both federal and state laws. He has significant litigation experience in matters relating to disability discrimination, independent contractors, retail, staffing agencies and transportation. Shahram concentrates in single plaintiff, class action and PAGA matters and has represented employers in administrative level matters involving the Department of Labor. He also has experience drafting an appellate brief addressing PAGA issues in California.

In addition to litigation, Shahram offers advice and counsel to clients on a wide variety of issues, including engaging in the interactive process with employees with work restrictions.

Shahram serves as the chair of the inclusion committee at Littler’s Los Angeles office and is the office’s pro bono liaison. He also mentors younger attorneys in the office. Additionally, Shahram has given presentations on corporal punishment, workplace harassment and bullying.
