Overview

Samantha DeRuvo represents and counsels employers and management clients in all aspects of labor relations, employment law, and related litigation. Samantha has represented employers in New York state and federal courts as well as in proceedings brought before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the National Labor Relations Board. She has experience defending discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and restrictive covenants issues. Additionally, she conducts internal investigations into allegations of employee misconduct, and provides advice and counsel to clients.

Before joining Littler, Samantha was an associate at a law firm where she represented clients in the financial services and mortgage services industries, focusing on litigation of contractual disputes involving noncompete, nonsolicit, and trade secret issues. Samantha previously worked at an international law firm in New York City where she worked on various litigation and investigatory matters in the securities, white collar, complex commercial, and employment law sectors.
