Overview

Nicole S. Mulé's practice focuses primarily on employment-related litigation in federal and state court. She also regularly handles agency matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and the Department of Labor. Nicole’s diverse litigation practice includes representing employers in claims involving free speech, discrimination, leave of absences, harassment, restrictive covenants and wage and hour.

Nicole’s background previously managing business operations and working closely with C-suite executives, gives her unique perspective when counseling companies in areas such as performance management, terminations, reductions in force, leaves of absence and accommodations, workplace investigations, and training and development. Nicole’s skills enable her to create lasting relationships and solutions for employers. She remains on the cutting edge of the changing landscape of employment legislation, most recently with multistate pay transparency compliance.

Before joining Littler, Nicole worked at an international labor and employment law firm and regional firm, where she second-chaired a wage and hour class action, negotiated a first union contract for a national healthcare organization, defended against unfair labor practice charges and drafted employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas.

Outside of the firm, Nicole serves as a Board Member for the Hartford Marathon Foundation, a not for profit organization whose mission is to encourage individuals and families to adopt and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. She also serves as President of the Western New England School of Law, Alumni Board.
