Leslie A. Bellwood

Leslie A. Bellwood joined Littler after practicing at a boutique commercial litigation firm in Minneapolis, where she served her clients by creating practical solutions for their litigation matters. Leslie developed her practice by knowing her clients’ businesses and how they could achieve their goals when faced with litigation. Leslie represented clients in a wide array of commercial litigation matters both in court and in FINRA arbitration, where she secured successful outcomes through motion practice, settlement negotiations, and mediations. 

As a law student at the University of Minnesota, Leslie represented clients in the Employment Law Clinic as they challenged unemployment insurance determinations. She also mentored first-year law students in the nationally recognized Law in Practice experiential learning class, for which she now serves as a practice instructor.

After earning best oralist in her Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Moot Court section, Leslie served as managing student director for the Moot Court, teaching students appellate advocacy and organizing the Maynard Pirsig Honors Oral Competition.

Leslie examined cutting-edge arbitration issues as a research assistant for Prof. Mitchell Zamoff and published “Proposed Guidelines for Arbitral Disclosure of Social Media Activity” in the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution as second author with Prof. Zamoff.
