Overview

Joshua Paikowsky focuses his practice on labor and employment law matters.

Prior to joining Littler, Josh defended both public and private entities at a national litigation law firm, where he worked on a variety of employment matters. This included various types of discrimination including claims based on age, race and sex. Additionally, Josh has experience in handling workers compensation, retaliation, breach of contract, and business dispute claims.

Josh has significant litigation and trial experience, having tried various cases to verdict in both criminal and civil court. He also has extensive litigation experience including the drafting and arguing of several dispositive motions, handling dozens of hearings, and taking and defending numerous depositions.

While at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office, Josh also served as the Assistant Chief of Misdemeanor Crimes, where he supervised and managed over 50 new Assistant State Attorneys. In this role, Josh played a part in shaping and implementing office policies, including the expansion of the office’s diversion programs.
