Overview

John Kenneth Villanueva represents and advises clients in a broad range of labor and employment issues including single plaintiff discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, whistleblower claims and workers' compensation matters. Ken also focuses on advising and counseling employers on traditional labor issues and occupational health and safety/OSHA issues.

Prior to joining Littler Ken worked as a senior auditor for seven years, regularly meeting with employers in a broad range of industries to conduct audits and advise employers on the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California compliance.

Ken worked full time while attending law school at Southwestern Law School as an evening student, graduating in 2024. While in law school, he was the notes and comments editor of the Southwestern Law Review, a senior advocate for the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, and board member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), among other student leadership positions. Additionally, Ken was a summer associate for Littler in 2023, returning as an associate upon graduating and passing the California bar.
