Overview

Jessica F. Pizzutelli represents management in all phases of employment law, in a variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, insurance and hospitality. She has represented employers in state and federal court, and before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the New York Department of Labor and the New York State Division of Human Rights.

In addition, Jessica has extensive experience in noncompetition and trade secret disputes, including in cases involving emergency and injunctive relief. She also dedicates approximately half of her practice to representing employers in collective, class and hybrid actions brought under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state wage and hour laws. She provides advice and counseling on a broad range of employment issues, including drafting hiring and separation agreements, confidentiality policies and restrictive covenants. She also has experience preparing employers for and defending against governmental agency audits and investigations. Jessica has substantial experience in all aspects of complex commercial civil litigation and arbitration.

Prior to joining Littler, Jessica practiced for five years with a law firm in Boston where she represented national and international insurance and reinsurance companies in state and federal court, and in arbitrations. She also was a special assistant district attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston.
