Ivie A. Serioux provides pragmatic and solution-oriented advice to employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including matters involving race, age, sex, disability discrimination and retaliation.
Her practice focuses on emerging issues in employment discrimination, AI and technology, traditional labor law and Title IX compliance. She has represented clients in arbitrations, administrative proceedings as well as state and federal courts including successfully arguing before the Second Circuit of Appeals.

- Conducted positive employee relations trainings across the nation for a multinational technology company.
- Obtained a complete dismissal of all claims against a New York City cultural institution in a case alleging claims under Title VII, NYSHRL and NYCHRL for retaliation and failure to hire. Drafted summary judgment and appellate brief in addition to arguing case before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, which resulted in the Second Circuit affirming the Southern District of New York’s judgment in favor of the client.
- Obtained a complete defense award in an arbitration brought by a former C-suite executive alleging claims of FMLA, ADA, State and City disability discrimination claims.
- Obtained a complete dismissal of all claims against a retailor in a case alleging Title III ADA violations.
