Drew C. Piersall practices primarily in the areas of employment litigation and business competition litigation. He has extensive litigation experience in cases involving employment discrimination, retaliation, and hostile work environment. Drew has successfully defended clients before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio State Personnel Board of Review, numerous state courts of appeals, every federal courthouse in Ohio, as well as the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has successfully defended claims under:

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA)
  • The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4112

Prior to joining Littler, Drew served as the head of an Ohio-based management-side employment law firm’s Columbus office for eleven years. Earlier in his career, Drew worked in the Employment Law Section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office. During his eight-year tenure, he rose through the ranks and ultimately served as Assistant Section Chief, overseeing the Section's federal litigation docket and supervising 12 attorneys.

Drew has over 20 years of experience advising companies on a wide range of employment law issues. He works with clients to advise them on sensitive workplace matters and also conducts workplace investigations.
