Overview

María Orio González regularly advises national and multinational employers in judicial and nonjudicial matters, and her clients represent a wide range of sectors, including insurance, energy, distribution, services, media, and new technologies. She has extensive experience in the design and implementation of labor documents in company or business unit transfer operations, collective dismissals, negotiation of collective agreements or collective files of substantial modification of working conditions.

Previously, María worked for an employment law boutique firm for more than eight years.

Maria combines her professional legal practice with teaching, and is a professor of labor law at the Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) in Madrid. She is a regular speaker at seminars, conferences and training sessions aimed at management personnel of national and multinational companies through the Institute of Business Development-IFE. She has published several articles on labor matters in the human resources magazine Observatorio and Human Resources Observatory - ORH.
