Overview

Daniris Sánchez Príncipe is a licensed attorney-at-law, notary public, and mediator in Puerto Rico. She has played an active role representing employers in election campaigns, collective bargaining, and general labor relations matters under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and the Railway Labor Act (RLA). She has also appeared on behalf of employers in employment disputes, including arbitration, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful dismissal claims before Puerto Rico’s state courts and administrative forums.

Daniris has helped guide employers through regulatory challenges before key agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and Puerto Rico’s Department of Labor.

During law school, Daniris expanded her legal perspective through participation in summer law programs organized by the Universitat de Barcelona and Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she focused on comparative international law and arbitration. She also played an active role in the leadership of the Pro Bono Program. Her early litigation experience began with representing South American migrants before the Immigration Court, where she secured political asylum for her client in her first-ever court hearing - a testament to her advocacy skills and commitment to justice.
