Bo Enevold Uhrenfeldt has nearly 20 years of experience practicing employment and labour law. He advises employers on compliance with international employment law, labour relations matters and workplace health and safety laws, including negotiating collective bargaining agreements and labour clauses related to public procurement.
He also counsels clients on the employment aspects of transfers of undertakings, outsourcing agreements, corporate reorganizations, and mass redundancies.
Bo has great insight into collective agreements and collective labour law issues, such as interpretation of collective agreements and labour clauses in connection with public procurement. He has a proven track record advising local businesses, multinational companies, and public institutions. He also advises companies on hiring foreign employees, including issues related to work permits and independent contractor classification.
An experienced litigator, Bo defends clients before the civil courts and industrial arbitration tribunals in Denmark, as well as the Danish Labour Court and the Danish Board of Dismissals. Bo is a qualified mediator with the Association of Danish Law Firms and is recognized by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a certified information privacy professional in Europe (CIPP/E).
Bo is a member of the Øresunddirekt expert committee advising Swedish companies on Danish law, and has taught contract law at University of Copenhagen. He regularly contributes to several employment and labour law publications, including Legal 500's Comparative Guides.
