In an article on the decision to delay implementation of the Affordable Care Act’s employer mandate, Littler’s Ilyse Schuman stressed the importance of keeping in mind that the ACA was not repealed. She noted that the delay gives employers more time to review their approach to the mandate in a more strategic manner, but cautioned that the mandate is “a key component of a very complex and interrelated law” and that other elements of the ACA have not been delayed.
