Overview

As a member of the Littler CaseSmart – Charges™ team and based in Massachusetts, Brian H. Lamkin is responsible for handling charges from investigation to conclusion. He works on client-dedicated service teams, focusing on handling administrative agency charges. He investigates charge allegations, reviews pertinent documents, interviews key witnesses, and provides clients an assessment of the risks associated with the charge. In partnership with the client, he defends the charge by drafting persuasive position statements and responses to the agency’s requests for information.

Before joining Littler, Brian devoted 25 years of his practice to representing employers for their counseling and litigation needs across a wide spectrum of legal issues, including claims involving alleged discrimination and retaliation, leaves of absence, wage and hour, trade secrets and restrictive covenants, as well as drafting employment agreements, policies, procedures, and handbooks. He has extensive experience representing businesses in state and federal trial and appellate courts around the country and before administrative agencies, as well as in alternative dispute resolution proceedings such as mediation and arbitration, and has conducted and supervised workplace investigations.
