Overview

Samantha Shine McPherson represents a wide range of employers in complex, single plaintiff, and class action matters in state and federal court. Sammie also handles a wide range of litigation for her clients. Her experience includes wage and hour representative and class action matters. She also has significant experience handling single plaintiff matters including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination cases.

Sammie partners with clients to advise on various employee relation issues such as leaves of absence, performance management, and terminations. Sammie works with her clients to not only address the problem but find creative solutions for the workplace.

Sammie has successfully defended an employer in trial where a former employee asserted claims for retaliation, discrimination, and wrongful termination. The jury rendered a complete defense verdict.

Sammie has also obtained summary judgment and summary adjudication on a variety of employment law issues including disability discrimination, age discrimination, race discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual battery, retaliation, breach of contract, and wrongful termination.
