Overview

Josh Ordiway focuses his practice on labor and employment law matters.

Prior to joining Littler, Josh was with a boutique employment law firm in Austin. He drafted motions, briefs and other pleadings, demand letters and responses, employment and separation agreements, EEOC and NLRB position statements, employee handbooks, settlement agreements, and client alerts. Josh conducted Texas Workforce Commission hearings and assisted with DOL investigations. He also conducted client investigations, gave client presentations, performed legal research, and wrote memos.

Previously, he clerked for one year for the Hon. Zachary J. Hawthorn, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. Josh independently managed the civil docket and wrote several summary judgment orders in discrimination cases. During law school, he interned at a nonprofit organization focusing on employment law matters. He also interned at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and the Texas Third Court of Appeals.
