MIAMI (March 25, 2024) – Emily Selig, an associate in the Miami office of Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has been selected as a 2024 fellow for The Leadership Academy, a South Florida-based program dedicated to advancing women in the legal profession.

The Leadership Academy is a joint partnership of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Miami-Dade Chapter, and the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association. The academy’s mission is to provide relevant professional development and leadership training to aspiring women leaders in South Florida.
Selig represents employers before state and federal courts and agencies in employment discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour cases. Selig draws on her prior experience representing clients in commercial and insurance disputes to defend against contract and tort claims within the context of employment litigation. In addition, she counsels clients in non-compete agreement disputes and drafting separation agreements and employee handbooks.
Selig received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her B.B.A from Florida International University.
