Overview

Emily R. Stevens represents and advises clients primarily in labor, employment, and whistleblower cases pursuant to, inter alia, Title VII, CADA, FMLA, SOX, DFA, and FCA. She litigates in federal and state court, including filing complaints, answers, motions to dismiss, disclosures, discovery, depositions, experts, motions practice, and summary judgment. Emily also represents clients throughout administrative processes with, inter alia, EEOC, CCRD, and OSHA. She is experienced in negotiating settlements, including mediation.

Prior to joining littler, Emily worked at a local Denver law firm practicing employment law as well as personal injury, wrongful death, dram shop, breach of contract, and criminal defense. She began her career as a public defender, where she litigated over 30 trials and hundreds of hearings.
