Jay Zhang’s practice focuses on the representation of businesses in labor and employment matters involving allegations of wrongful discharge and violations of state and federal employment laws. Jay has experience representing clients on a variety of employment-related matters, including litigation related to wage and pay, non-compete agreements, harassment and discrimination claims, and leave and accommodations issues.
In addition to traditional litigation, Jay takes pride in helping businesses achieve compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and regularly advises clients on best practices regarding human resources and management. Prior to joining Littler, Jay worked for a national firm where he maintained a broad-based complex commercial litigation practice with a focus on business and employment matters within the healthcare, energy, and insurance industries.
During law school, Jay interned at the Southern District of Texas and served as the Chief Notes and Comments Editor for the Houston Law Review.
