Overview

Samlecia D. Gaye represents and advises corporate clients in both employment law and traditional labor matters against single plaintiffs and class actions. Her experience encompasses handling all phases of litigation. Samlecia represents clients in a variety of industries including healthcare and retail.

Samlecia is experienced in employment discrimination and wrongful termination litigation, and represents clients before state courts and administrative agencies. Additionally, Samlecia defends employers against Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) and wage and hour class action matters in cases involving meal and rest breaks, off-the-clock work, rounding of time, and other wage and hour issues. Samlecia’s traditional labor experience includes negotiating collective bargaining argreements.

Prior to joining Littler, Samlecia achieved excellent results defending corporate clients against prelitigation employment-based discrimination and harassment claims. Additionally, her practice included representing various corporate clients in other claims including toxic tort, personal injury, and product liability.
