Karen Lloyd is a member of the Littler CaseSmart® team and is based in Kansas. She partners with local Littler litigation teams in formulating and executing a discovery strategy for single plaintiff employment litigation cases. She drafts discovery requests and responses, evaluates the opposing party’s requests and responses, reviews documents, oversees document productions and assists with deposition preparation.
Prior to joining Littler, Karen was a shareholder at a Kansas City-based regional law firm, where she practiced complex insurance defense litigation in state and federal courts, focusing on the areas of employment, commercial, transportation, and construction litigation. She has significant experience in all aspects of litigation, from initial case strategy through trial.
During law school, she interned at the Douglas County, Kansas District Court and the Legal Aid Clinic at her law school. Karen also served as an associate editor of the Kansas Law Review.
