Jeffrey D. Hanslick counsels employers on managing their employees through an increasingly regulated workplace and with other business disputes. Jeffrey defends employers in all types of employment disputes, including regional and national wage and hour class and collective actions. He also serves as lead trial/arbitration counsel in EEO litigation, in contract disputes and in traditional labor arbitrations. He has handled defense of judgments on appeal, including before the U.S. Courts of Appeal, and before various state courts of appeal.
In business litigation matters, Jeffrey has protected trade secrets, enforced restrictive covenants, and represented companies in a variety of commercial disputes. His experience includes serving as national employment counsel for a major retailer and representing it in employment litigation and arbitration in nationwide and California wage and hour class actions; serving as regional employment counsel for a major consumer products manufacturer; defending a multinational technology company in a trade secret misappropriation claim; serving as employment counsel for a chain of convenience stores and representing it in employment litigation; and serving as employment counsel for a regional health system.
