Don't Be Fooled: Significant New Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy Requirements Start April 1 for California Employers

The Fair Employment and Housing Council has approved revisions to Title 2, California Code of Regulations 11023. This program is intended to highlight the new regulations that will go into effect on April 1, 2016, that will require employers to develop harassment, discrimination and retaliation prevention policies that contain a number of specified items, disseminate the policies in a way that ensures employees receive and understand them, have employees acknowledge receipt of the policies, and translate those policies into different languages if more than 10% of the workforce speaks that language.
