2013 Employment Law Update

2012 ushered in major regulatory and case-law developments. These significant changes in employment and labor law will have a dramatic impact in the workplace. Littler is pleased to host a legal update that will guide attendees through the maze of new employment and labor developments in the past year, including the following topics:

  • Recent developments in Connecticut employment law and an overview of proposed changes to Connecticut employment law in 2013
  • A discussion of the NLRB's significant decisions in 2012 and how those decisions affect both unionized an non-unionized workplaces
  • An overview of the EEOC's guidance concerning employer use of an applicant's criminal history when making hiring decisions
  • Discussion of recent case law and administrative agency pronouncements concerning the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act
