Wine Flight of Employment Law Road Show – Tasting notes to keep your business out of trouble

This program has been designed for the wine, agriculture and distillery industries, to inform and educate wine makers, owners, vineyard, landscape and farming managers, and tasting room staff on the employment law related issues affecting their businesses and industries.  The summer road show will be making stops in Willamette Valley, Eastern Washington, and Southern Oregon this June.

Our panel of seasoned attorneys will be presenting:

  • Your Employment Application – The critical first steps in hiring good employees
  • Employee Handbooks – The importance of written policies and procedures
  • Immigration 101, including I-9 Enforcement – Are you in compliance?
  • Wage and Hour Hot Buttons – Practical Guidance on timekeeping, breaks and meal periods, exemptions, and travel time

Following the presentations will be a hosted wine reception, featuring excellent wines of the Northwest and tasty hors d'oeuvres to complement each pour. These programs are complimentary.
