It seems as though change is the only constant in the law of the workplace. New laws and regulations, and the steady onslaught of court decisions interpreting these laws, create a dynamic, fluid and demanding legal framework for governing the workplace.

Please join us on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 from 7:30 am to 10:30 am at the Burlington Marriott where we will present a two-part briefing that will help you navigate the legal challenges of the workplace. In the first half of the briefing we will present a legal update highlighting the most significant developments in the laws affecting the workplace over the past twelve months. This update will include a breakdown of the significant legislative developments in Congress and in Massachusetts, with insights provided by Littler Attorney Marty Walz, a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives (8th Suffolk District). The update will also include a review of the year's most important federal and Massachusetts case law developments and what they mean for employers in the Commonwealth.

The second half of the briefing will offer an open forum for you to present your toughest workplace questions to a panel of attorneys from Littler's Boston office. This session will provide you will an opportunity to learn how Littler's attorneys would address the most challenging and daunting employment issues that you and your peers in the local business community are facing. Present your thorniest workplace problems and we will reveal strategies and tactics for resolving them. This portion of the program promises to be a lively, open discussion and provide an environment to voice your most challenging concerns.
