As the leader of Littler Learning Group, Anna Gualano oversees the strategic development, delivery, and innovation of Littler’s comprehensive workplace training solutions, which include customized in person programs, eLearning modules, and employee and manager compliance courses designed to help employers navigate complex labor and employment law challenges. Her work supports Littler’s broader mission of equipping HR professionals, managers, and supervisors with practical tools to address the employment issues they face in daily operations.
Anna previously served as Program Director for Littler CaseSmart®, where she managed a nationwide team of attorneys managing administrative agency charges within Littler’s technology driven, team-based service model. Before that, Anna built her career handling employment litigation involving matters arising under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FLSA, the FMLA, and related state employment laws. Anna is licensed in Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama and has appeared before federal and state courts in those states and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Anna has also advised national employers—including retailers, manufacturers, and healthcare organizations—on a wide range of workplace issues, from hiring and performance management to discipline and termination.
Prior to joining Littler in 2008, she practiced labor and employment law at a general practice firm representing clients in Georgia and Tennessee.
A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, Anna served as President of the Student Bar Association and was a junior editor of the Law and Psychology Review. In recognition of her leadership, the Anna C. Curry Leadership Award was established in her honor in 2005 and is presented annually to an outstanding student leader. Before law school, she earned her B.A. from Vanderbilt University, where she was Student Government Association President of the College of Arts and Sciences, a coxswain on the Vanderbilt rowing team, Vanderbilt University’s 2001 Homecoming Queen, and recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship for premedical studies.
Anna has a longstanding commitment to community service and advocacy, especially for individuals with disabilities. In 2009, Anna summitted Kilimanjaro as part of a fundraising effort for the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, for which she has served on the Board of Directors. She created the “Tri for OI,” an annual sprint triathlon also benefiting the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation. She is currently proudly serving on the Board of Advisors for the University of Alabama Adapted Athletics Program. Anna is co-Chair and an active member of Littler’s Individuals with Disabilities Affinity Group.
