Alina Nadir has practiced employment law for over fourteen years, representing employers in federal and state court litigation, including cases brought pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866, New York State and City Human Rights Laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the New York State Labor Law. Alina also has extensive experience with handling discrimination complaints filed with the EEOC and New York State Division of Human Rights.
Alina has provided pre-litigation advice and counsel to companies, reviewed and edited employee handbooks, and advised on employers’ efforts to comply with their obligations under federal, state, and local laws.
Prior to joining Littler, Alina worked in private practice and also served as associate counsel for labor and employment in the legal department of a large university and medical center.
Alina has also conducted training sessions for employers and human resources professionals on the topics of harassment prevention and other compliance matters.
