Joy Cho represents and counsels employers across various industries in a broad range of employment matters, primarily focusing on the defense of wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, and both mass and single plaintiff actions. She also defends clients in cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and unfair competition. She has extensive experience representing employers in state and federal courts, handling single plaintiff, multiplaintiff, and representative and class action lawsuits. She has also represented Fortune 500 companies at the administrative level, achieving favorable outcomes for her clients. 

In addition to litigation, Joy assists clients by researching and counseling on newly enacted wage and hour and drug testing regulations in California. She has experience conducting human resources audits and revising employment handbooks. 

Prior to joining Littler, Joy served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Elaine Lu of the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles. Joy graduated Loyola Law School with honors in Corporate Law concentration. During law school, Joy was a member of National Moot Court team, served Scott Moot Court Honors Board, and was a semifinalist for Transactional Negotiation Competition. She was vice president of Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and was a student representative of Korean American Bar Association of Southern California. Joy also partook in Employment Rights Clinic where she recommended outcomes for employment retaliation claims filed with the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.

Joy was a summer associate in Littler’s Los Angeles office.
