Panoramica

Rachel A. Simek is a research attorney in Littler’s Knowledge Management department. She conducts research and analysis of employment laws and assists with drafting and editing firm publications. She is a contributor to Littler GPS®, for which she provides analysis of recently enacted statutes and regulations and assists with 50-state surveys covering various labor and employment law topics.

Prior to joining Litter, Rachel completed a four-year clerkship for a federal district court judge, where she worked on a wide variety of civil matters. Prior to her clerkship, she was a partner at a international firm where her practice focused on the defense of product-liability actions against pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. She has extensive experience with every stage of federal multidistrict litigation, as well as with the defense of individual cases in state and federal courts across the country. Rachel has been responsible for key aspects of complex, large-scale litigations, including document production and discovery, fact and expert witness depositions, dispositive motion practice, trial preparation and strategy, and mass settlement. She also has experience in the area of government enforcement defense, and has served as counsel for FDA-regulated companies in connection with qui tam matters.
