Kaleigh McManus focuses her practice on global labor and employment law matters.
Kaleigh has represented U.S. employers in traditional labor matters, including arbitrations, union elections, unfair labor practice charges, and collective bargaining negotiations. She also has experience representing employers in both state and federal court, before administrative agencies, in mediations and arbitrations in claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and their state counterparts.
In addition to her U.S.-based practice, Kaleigh has significant experience assisting clients with global employment advice and counsel, including drafting separation agreements, employment contracts, handbooks, codes of ethics and GDPR compliant policies. She also has M&A due diligence experience and regularly assists U.S. companies in the acquisition of foreign companies by conducting due diligence of employment issues under local labor and employment laws and evaluating the risk of a potential merger or acquisition.
Kaleigh also has project management experience in large scale, multijurisdictional projects. Notably, Kaleigh has assisted U.S.-based employers in restructuring and compliance audits covering 20+ jurisdictions at a time.
Kaleigh's prior experience includes working in strategic planning and fundraising for nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations in the U.S. and Morocco.
