Panoramica

LaceShionna N. Cline focuses her practice on labor and employment matters. Lace has defended clients in a variety of matters involving employment litigation, casualty litigation, breach of contract, wrongful death, premises liability, and products liability. In addition to her practice, Lace teaches trial advocacy, as well as legal analysis, research, and communication as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

Lace served as a federal law clerk at the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri. Additionally, she was an assistant prosecuting attorney at the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office in Kansas City, Missouri, and an assistant circuit attorney at the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office in St. Louis, Missouri, where she gained invaluable courtroom experience. During her time as an assistant prosecutor, Lace successfully tried numerous high-level felony jury trials as lead and secondary counsel.

Lace earned an Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate from the University of Missouri School of Law, where she was a pupil of the Elwood L. Thomas Inns of Court and a note and comment editor for the Journal of Dispute Resolution.
