CHICAGO (April 6, 2018) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, is pleased to announce that Shanthi V. Gaur and D. Finn Pressly have rejoined the firm as shareholders in the Chicago office.

Gaur advises and represents retail organizations, pharmaceutical companies and health care corporations in a broad range of issues relating to employment discrimination, including claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Equal Pay Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. She has extensive experience in class and collective action litigation and has tried cases before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies. Gaur also counsels clients in other areas of employment litigation, including defamation, tortious interference, personnel policy and procedures review, employee hiring and terminations.
In her previous tenure at Littler, Gaur served as co-chair of the firm's Equal Employment Opportunity/ Discrimination Practice Group and was involved in a variety of diversity, recruitment and professional development initiatives. She received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Chicago Law School and her B.A., with honors, from the University of Chicago.
Pressly focuses his practice on employee benefits compliance. He counsels clients on all aspects of health and welfare benefit plans, including issues related to ERISA, plan design, summary plan descriptions, HIPAA privacy and security, wellness programs, health savings accounts and COBRA continuation coverage. Pressly also advises clients on health care reform compliance issues, including responding to employer mandate penalty assessments under the Affordable Care Act.
Pressly received his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. He is licensed to practice in Florida, Illinois and Hawaii.
