(September 25, 2017) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, is pleased to announce that William J. Emanuel has been confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as a member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
“Bill has been a valued colleague and trusted advisor to our clients over the years, and we congratulate him on this notable appointment,” said Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth, co-managing directors of Littler, in a joint statement. “We have no doubt that he will be a tremendous asset to the NLRB.”
Emanuel was nominated by President Donald Trump in June to serve on the NLRB. As a shareholder in Littler’s Los Angeles office, Emanuel represented employers in traditional labor matters, including NLRB cases, collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, union election campaigns, strikes and picket lines, and litigation concerning union access to the private property of employers.
